As Grand Elder, I wish to welcome you to the Eldritch Order of Leng.
This is as much a micronation as it is a work of art and creativity. Leng is established deep in the roots of Lovecraftian lore. Taking inspiration from the entire plethora of H.P. Lovecraft's circle of friends and correspondents, Leng incorporates elements of work from such authors as Clark Ashton Smith, August Derleth, Edgar Rice Burroughs, and many others. Yet it is also a step away from these writers in that it is a creation of fiction unto itself; delving much deeper into a fantastic world where the line between shadow and light blurs indistinctly.
Thus far, Leng has been a project developed solely by myself. Part of it is the result of a sincere love for the Lovecraft genre. Yet other parts are borne from a desire to experiment in creativity. Yet as a micronation, Leng is open to collaborative work, and the contributions of others, so that the end product is a combination of work from multiple authors.
Perhaps this is the most suitable memorial, given Lovecraft's penchant for correspondence among friends and colleagues.
I sincerely hope you enjoy your visit to Leng and the writing we have published here. If you wish to contribute, please consider becoming a citizen.
Regards, -Khaarus, Grand Elder of Leng
